Greetings and welcome to our website! Thanks for visiting us “virtually” today. If you’re not a member of our church, we invite to come and visit us sometime in real life, and to consider making us a regular part of your weekends.

Laguna Chinese Baptist Church exists to glorify God by building up and sending out his disciples. We tend to think of ourselves as a “launching pad.” We greatly value training and equipping our people, so that they can be released to encourage, teach, reach out, comfort, and generally give of themselves to help others. In short, we desire all of our members to be ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Furthermore, we think you’ll find our church to be a warm and inviting place, where you’ll make friends easily. We are a Chinese church, but we are not only Chinese, and we strive to create a welcoming environment for all, regardless of ethnicity or background.

  • 1. 2011 YEAR-END STATEMENTS are available for pick up TODAY after each service at the west end entrance. Also, if you would like a box of 2012 offering envelopes, or have a change of address. please notify the Finance Committee.
  • 2. CHINESE SPEAKING MEN’S RETREAT is beginning registration TODAY. The retreat is scheduled for February 10-12, 2012 at Angels Camp. Please contact Charles Wang if you have any questions.
  • 3. LCBC COMMUNITY & INFORMATION CENTER will be open on Mondays, January 30th. The center is available to those seeking job opportunities as well as providing inquiry services to our community.
  • 4. WMU MEETING will be held on Saturday, February 4th beginning 9:30am at church. Please join us for fellowship and sharing from Brother Peter Leung share.
  • 5. BAPTISMAL SERVICE has been scheduled for Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012. If you are interested in being baptized or transferring your membership, please turn in a completed application no later than Sunday, February 5th. Oral testimonies will be given at the February Membership Meeting. Applications are available in the church office or on the brochure wall next to the library.   • 6. SHANDONG SUMMER MISSION is scheduled from 7/11 to 8/8. Anyone who is interested to join this mission please come to the first team meeting on 2/9, 7:00 PM at the church library. There we shall have information, questions and answers. Meanwhile if you cannot come to the meeting but is interested to go or have question, please email Henry Khoo at khoophoto@aol.com.
  • 7. CHILDREN SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS MEETING is scheduled for Sunday, February 12th at 1:00pm in the church library. All Children Sunday School teachers are required to attend. Please let Patty know if you are unable to make this meeting.
  • 8. CHURCH MINISTRY CONFERENCE will be held on Saturday, February 25th beginning at 9:00am. All church leaders and ministry staff are invited to attend. More info to come.
