Greetings and welcome to our website! Thanks for visiting us “virtually” today. If you’re not a member of our church, we invite to come and visit us sometime in real life, and to consider making us a regular part of your weekends.

Laguna Chinese Baptist Church exists to glorify God by building up and sending out his disciples. We tend to think of ourselves as a “launching pad.” We greatly value training and equipping our people, so that they can be released to encourage, teach, reach out, comfort, and generally give of themselves to help others. In short, we desire all of our members to be ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Furthermore, we think you’ll find our church to be a warm and inviting place, where you’ll make friends easily. We are a Chinese church, but we are not only Chinese, and we strive to create a welcoming environment for all, regardless of ethnicity or background.

  • 1. LCBC IS HOSTING (no cost) A CHURCH WIDE BBQ/PICNIC on Sun., July 8th at 1pm to celebrate God’s goodness for our church family. Volunteers from both services are needed. Sign ups to volunteer begin TODAY at the east entrance lobby.
  • 2. FELLOWSHIP LUNCH - join us for a time of fellowship over lunch on Sunday, May 27th at 12:30pm, in the MPR room. The lunch is free. However, sign up is a must so we can have a head count. Sign-up at the west entrance after both services beginning TODAY.
  • 3. YOUTH BASKETBALL CAMP - An instructional camp which teaches kids the basic fundamentals of playing basketball and teaching them about God. The camp will be Mon-Fri, June 25-29 and is for kids entering 1st-6th grade in the fall of 2012. Each player receives a camp t-shirt, basketball and a picture pack. Registration will be every Sunday after each service beginning TODAY. Be sure to register early! Early registration is $45 per child and $35 for each additional sibling. After 6/3/12, there is an additional $10.00 late fee per player. Any questions, please see Frank Yee, Davey Wong or Calvin Lee.
  • 4. LCBC COMMUNITY & INFORMATION CENTER will be open Monday, May 21st beginning at 6:00pm. The center is available to those seeking job opportunities as well as providing inquiry services to our community.
  • 5. CHILDREN SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS MEETING has been scheduled for Sunday, June 3rd at 1:00pm in the church library. All Children Sunday School teachers are required to attend. Please let Patty know if you will be unable to make this meeting. The summer curriculum is available for pick up in the office.
  • 6. CHURCH MEMBERS MEETING has been scheduled for Sunday, June 24th. Please note the change in date to accommodate Father’s Day.
  • 7. REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR CAMP ALTA 2012! Our speaker will be Jeremy Williams of Grace Fellowship Church from Corona, CA. The dates are July 29-August 1 for the price of only $175! Open to all entering and current junior high to high school students. Make all checks payable to LCBC. Pick up and turn in your permission slips and monies to Jaron Seid.
  • 8. HELPERS NEEDED IN OUR NURSERY! LCBC is currently blessed with many littles ones, but not enough hands to love on them. There is a need for helpers during our first service. If you are interested in helping, please contact Jeannie Tse at stongper@sbcglobal.net or 427-3121.
